Shout Out to the Lovebirds

When I told my parents that I was going to live with Elliot, and that she was practically engaged to Roy, who was also going to be in Utah, the first thing my Dad said was "you do realize that this guy is going to be like a piece of furniture in your apartment right?" Well Dad, you were right.

The good thing is that Roy is a pretty great guy to have around. He does the dishes more often than any of us, is always willing to share the delicious food that he cooks, and has graciously appointed himself as the overseer of my dating life. Ok that last one is a joke, but he does like to "give his approval" on my dates. I am so happy for him and Elli, and the wedding plans are in full swing!

A few weeks ago I got to go with Elliot, her Mom, and her best friend Lynn to Salt Lake to go wedding dress shopping! It was the ideal shopping trip, we found her dress at the second place we went! It's perfect and she is going to make the most beautiful bride :)

Here is what made it really fun...you know cupcakes are the hip trendy thing right now? Well both of the wedding dress boutiques we went to had free cupcakes. Beautiful, delicious, gourmet, adorable, cupcakes!
