A Special Occasion

Today was a special occasion. To all the rest of you it may have just been another Tuesday...yeah, March 16th? What's the big deal? Well my friends, I will tell you. Today was the first day of 2010 that I wore my rainbow sandals ALL DAY LONG. All of you California people should know what I'm talking about, but for the rest of you: here is a rainbow sandal. And yes, mine are red. And yes, I know how awesome that is.

It was just so sunny and warm today, I don't know what I will do when the inevitable snow storm comes. I know that it will. Not because I checked the weather report, but because I have spent 3 years here now and this happens every winter. We get teased with beautiful, spectacular, gorgeous, amazing days like this, and then bam. Yucky wet, grey, March snow. But I'm enjoying this lovely weather while it lasts and letting myself get good and excited for spring to come for reals.

Also, I saw two amazing movies last weekend. I highly recommend them both.
