I LOVE BLOGS

I am proud to report that dinner was a success! I had it all cooked and ready to go right on time, the kitchen was smokeless, and I was calm and composed. Too bad half the group didn't show up! NO big deal though, I like leftovers.
So I spent a considerable amount of time poking around the internet tonight and I've found some coolio stuff:

- Here is an awesome idea for those of us who wish we could plant flowers but are stuck in garden-less apartments. I also love how bulbs grow no matter what you do to them since I don't have the greenest of thumbs. This is also a cute idea for a "non-traditional floral valentine," according to the blogger. I must say I agree.

- Today Elliot told me about this girl named Tavi, a 13 year old blogger who has become quite a figure in the fashion world. She is both ridiculous and fascinating and her blog is hilarious. I highly recommend it if you are into this kind of thing. Even if you aren't, just compare this kid to any "normal" 13 year olds you might know. A lot of people don't like her, as proved by this article on aol.com. But check out her blog and see for yourself: "Style Rookie" 

Yes she died her hair gray, and yes that is her with Karl Lagerfeld on the left at Fashion Week in Paris. Are you kidding me??

 

- I'm all for going green, but I think that washing your hair with honey might be a little extreme...just a little. I find it hard to believe that it wouldn't be sticky, and it just seems like an all-around dumb idea. Someone should try it and let me know how it goes.
