NieNie

I was late getting to campus this morning because I was sitting at the kitchen table, eating my oatmeal, and bawling my eyes out over this blog, NieNie Dialogues. I spent half of the walk to campus trying to stop crying and hoping that I wouldn't see anyone I knew.
Stephanie Nielsen is a young mother of 4. She started blogging awhile ago when she was 23 and had 3 little kids. She is LDS and lives in Provo, Utah. In August 2008 she and her husband were in what should have been a fatal plane crash. They both survived but Stephanie was left with horrible burns over 80% of her body. Now it has been over a year and she is back at home but every day is a fight. She is in so much pain and has many surgeries still to undergo. Read this article to become acquainted with the story before you read the blog. She posts almost every day and her hope and faith is such an inspiration. I am tearing up just writing this and I am sitting in the library surrounded by people so that's all I will say about that. But read the blog, seriously. It will change the way you look at your life.
Here is a clip from Stephanie on Oprah. It made me cry all over again. You'll see. I don't ever want to complain about my life again. Stephanie's address in on her blog. I'm going to write her a letter today.
