Those of you who read my blog semi-regularly have probably noticed by now that I always have a lot to blog about on Saturdays, and then new blog posts are non-existent through the rest of the week. This isn't necessarily because I don't have time...it's usually because I can't think of anything to say. So from now on Thursday's are going to be Real Life Faces days. I will just tell you whatever is running through my head, maybe what I am doing that day...or what I wish I was doing that day. It may not be very profound or cool or funny, but it will be real!
So. This is today.
Thursdays are my favorite day of the week because I have one class from 9-10:50 and then I am totally done for the day. If I am really motivated I will stay on campus and hole up in the library all afternoon to get my homework done, but today I came straight back home afterwards. So this morning I rolled out of bed, finished my homework assignment about 15 minutes before class and didn't do my hair. The original schedule (yes, I wrote one out last night) was to go running after class, shower and actually get ready for the day, and then pack up my backpack and head to campus for 5 hours of productive homework doing. After this I would come home and cook an amazing dinner for my dinner group that would be done and beautifully presented in a clean kitchen at exactly 6:30.
Wouldn't that have been nice...
What actually happened was that I came home and decided it was way too cold to go running so I watched the Bachelor instead. Ali is an idiot. Then just as I was getting ready to start my homework (on my couch because I didn't feel like walking up to campus again) Rachel called to tell me that Emily is still a sickie and wasn't doing too great. So I packed up my stuff and went over there to "study," fluff her bed, give her water, and make her Rice-A-Roni. I actually got a lot of stuff done while she napped and now I'm home again. And I never got around to doing my hair.
Time to start cooking! Enchiladas tonight. I will let you know how it goes.
